The Solution for a 6.4L Powerstroke Leaking Radiator. Unfortunately, there isn’t a fix for this other than replacing the radiator. Even if your stock radiator hasn’t failed yet, it’s a good idea to be proactive. Mishimoto’s aftermarket aluminum radiator is a perfect solution for the problem.
Also in replacing the thermostat, new gasket material is required to properly seal the contact services. Therefore, removal and replacement of the thermostat is time consuming and therefore costly. In U.S. Pat. Nos. 4,432,410 and 5,305,826 a temperature sensitive valve is used within the left side tank of a U-flow design radiator.
Install the pump on the drain port of the vac and secure a standard garden hose to the pump. Run the hose vertically and out a window for liquid disposal. The pump secures to any RIDGID vac with a drain and enables the wet/dry vacuum to pump 10 Gal. of water per minute up to 40 ft. H.
Use a 3/8" drive socket wrench and extension (no socket) to turn the plug counter clockwise (see photo at right), allowing the old oil to drain. Feb 03, 2020 · Replace the radiator. If there is a crack in your radiator, it is highly likely that you may need to purchase a replacement for it. To replace your radiator, drain all of the fluids from it and disconnect the hoses leading into and out of the radiator.
Once you have removed the radiator hose clamps from where they were fitted, you can then remove the radiator hose. From this point, you can then replace the radiator hose if you need to. While changing your radiator hose might be a pain free and easy process, changing your radiator is not always the same case.
